Prairie Sky by Nicole Walsh is a soft, airy abstract landscape that captures the quiet drama of a big open sky. Sweeping brushstrokes in powder blue, cloudy white and misty grey fill most of the composition, while the lower edge brings in warm wheat, sandy ochre and a hint of sunlit gold. I was tossing up whether to get this one and I'm really glad I did. Turns out it does work perfectly with the rest of the rooms decor. I do think the photos online make it look slightly lighter than it is in real life, but honestly I still love it.
