Green Wheat Field with Cypress (1889) by Vincent Van Gogh is a landscape artwork of a wheat field and tall cypress in green, golden yellow and soft blue. This Van Gogh print features a dark cypress just left of centre, with pale farm buildings to the right. Short, angled brushstrokes fill the foreground wheat, while curling clouds cross the blue sky. The mood is fresh and relaxed, with a sense of movement. It suits traditional and modern farmhouse interiors, bringing colour to a bedroom or living room. You could tie the palette together with a rug in muted olive and warm yellow. Centre the artwork above a bedhead, with roughly 20 to 25 cm between the bedhead and its lower edge.

I was tossing up whether to get this one and I'm really glad I did. Turns out it does work perfectly with the rest of the rooms decor. I do think the photos online make it look slightly lighter than it is in real life, but honestly I still love it.
