Fiery Skyscape by Dorothy Fagan is an expressive abstract landscape that feels like sunset turned all the way up. A low horizon line anchors the composition while sweeping, layered brushwork fills the sky with coral, blush pink, apricot, peach and flashes of hot orange, softened by creamy white and hints of pale blue. It has the energy of colourful wall art, but this is also pink wall art with real presence and warmth.
The paint handling feels loose and painterly, with plenty of movement and texture that keeps your eye travelling across the piece. Despite the bold colour, it still feels airy and light, like the sky is putting on a bit of a show. It would sit beautifully in a living room, bedroom or dining space. I was tossing up whether to get this one and I'm really glad I did. Turns out it does work perfectly with the rest of the rooms decor. I do think the photos online make it look slightly lighter than it is in real life, but honestly I still love it.
Couldn’t be happier with my artwork from the Wall Art Collective. They advised the order would take 9-12 business days to be delivered but I received it only 4 days later.
