In Coastal Break, Dan Hobday paints an abstract coastal landscape in warm cream, olive green and pale blue. Soft, open sky fills most of this neutral landscape wall art, with low, uneven landforms gathered near the bottom. Broad olive strokes run across the horizon, while pale blue and white brushwork overlaps in the foreground. The subdued palette and spacious composition create a peaceful, unhurried mood. I was tossing up whether to get this one and I'm really glad I did. Turns out it does work perfectly with the rest of the rooms decor. I do think the photos online make it look slightly lighter than it is in real life, but honestly I still love it.
